Seedlings were transplanted from control medium to substrate with oryzalin 200 nM for 6 h. Cell divisions in the meristematic zone of both wild-type and than/+ are affected, as incomplete cell walls and abnormal phragmoplasts can be observed (a, b arrows). Cortical microtubules are longer and more integral in transition and fast elongation zone cells of than/+ compared to wild-type roots (d; cf. c). Scale bars: 20 μm
